We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Leadership Team and manage our educational provision. The Head of Education will provide professional leadership for the school ensuring a safe learning environment, high quality teaching and education for all our pupils, and outstanding standards of learning, behaviour and achievement. The role will involve contributing to strategic planning, policy development and implementation, and ensure a high degree of quality assurance against the Independent School Standards. Staff CPD training and overseeing the quality of teaching and learning through a robust performance management framework also fall within the role, as will the management and development of the curriculum and accreditation.

The successful applicant will have experience in working within the Ofsted inspection framework. S/he will have experience in working in partnership with governing bodies, staff, parents, local authorities and other key stakeholders. S/he will also have the ability to forge and maintain good nurturing relationships with children & young people. The applicant will have proven leadership, interpersonal, communication, planning and organisation skills, and be creative, innovative, self-motivated and flexible in approach.

Start date: September 2020 or as soon as possible
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience)
